What Causes Fever With Small Bumps On The Face And Arms Of A Child?
Hi! My son who is 8 1/2 has a fever and has small bumps on his face and arms with no other symptoms associated. Although his face seems alilttle swollen as well. Any ideas what this could be? He has not been around anything unusal that he would be allergic too that would cause this.
Hello Dear. Many a times viral fever does cause some rashes in children. Once the fever subsides it will disappear. If the rashes are all over the body it can be measles or chicken pox. Bumps on the face can also be due to mosquito bite. In case the fever and rashes doesnt subside in a couple of days kindly consult a pediatrician who will evaluate the child in detail, do blood tests and find out what is the cause .
Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you. All the best With warm regards Dr Sanjay Kini
