Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a deer of 100.8 on Wednesday, then on Thursday I had a low grade fever for the rest of the day and my throat began o feel sore, and it was hard for me to swallow. On the next day my throat got worse with sores in the back of my mouth and some blisters on my feet. Today I received a few more. I also have a loss of appetite and back to another low grade fever. So have any clue what this may be?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of fever with sore throat and blisters which is due to bacterial infection leading to strep throat.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to avoid cold carbonated beverages. You should take antihistamines and antibiotic combination as infection is present. Do warm saline gargles 3 to 4 times a day. Take ibuprofen one tablet twice daily. Take soft foods to avoid irritation to the throat. Throat lozenges one every 4 hours is helpful. Drink lukewarm water throughout the day as it can provide relief.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
