What Causes Fibrous Build Up In Fallopian Tubes Leading To Infertility?
Situation: My wife briefly told me that her OB doctor said that she had fibrous build up in her fallopian tubes and that is why she cannot get pregnant. I know that 4 years ago she had two affairs over a period of three years. She was also diagnosed two years after the affairs with HPV and treated. Two questions: 1. HPV - would that have come from the affairs or could it have come from her college years. We have been married 15 years. In other words can HPV stay dormant for 15 years or would it only be a cause from the recent affairs.
2. Fiber- I read about this online. What is the percentage chance that this fibrous build up is from salpingitis resulting from Chlamydia. Can fibrous material just build up on its own as a fluke or from some other cause? If it does result from Chlamydia, would she have contracted Clhamydia during her college years and thus this is the result after 15 years. Or would you say that this disease was contracted from one of her affairs. To give you a time line, we have been married 13 years, dated 2 years prior to this. We have two children from earlier in our marriage. We have unprotected sex for pregnancy reasons for the last three years and have not gotten pregnant.
