I am a 54 year old male, I am in good physical condition and not taking any precribtion drugs. My urine smells like tuna fish. I have been eating a lot of tuna, eggs, cottage cheese and avacado. I am also taking whey supplements and a testosterone enhancer. What could be causing this odor ?
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. this smell is due to decomposition proteins, it releases the ammonia causes fishy smell. And long standing urine is also causes smell due to urea which is present in the urine is converted into ammonia, this ammonical smell like fishy. Ii is mainly due to lower urine tract infections. According to food stuffs which you are taking also another cause for smell.
