What Causes Flank Pain Along With Headaches?
My parietal glands on both sides suddenly started hurting when drinking or eating today. I have flank pain on both sides and a headache and feel really cold. I live on a sailboat and can’t get to an emergency room. I am Ships Medic and have some treatments available but I have never seen these symptoms before.

Hello,
It seems to be acute viral infection of upper respiratory tract. Symptomatic management is done for that.
Auscultation, CBC investigation and ASO titre investigation needs to be done. Decongestant like Levocetirizine is prescribed, If cold present. Also, Paracetamol drug is helpful in relieving headache and pain.
If no improvement and ASO titre positive or neutrophilia with high count, then antibiotic can be prescribed.
