Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Flashes of light in the vision is a pathological condition.

It may be seen in cataract or vitreous detachment or retinal tears or glaucoma or a migraine.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Please consult your ophthalmologist immediately he will do fundoscopy and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu,
