Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m a 20 year old sexually active female. I ve had these flesh colored bumps on my pubic area. They are only on the top, they do not spread to the cheek of the vagina. They do not itch and are painless. One or two also look like razor bumps they ll have the little white for in the middle but the rest don t. I try not to shave for a week or so they subside and just come back when I shave they never go away. What could they be? Std or just razor bumps.
HELLO, i can understand your concern. going through the history you have given, this definitely appears as a result of the shaving of the pubic hair. this is a very common problem faced by everyone. i would suggest usage of a brand new razor for shaving rather than a used one. use a shaving foam specifically manufactured for the private parts. this would be gentle on the skin. do not go for waxing the pubic hair as this may aggravate the bumps. in case of pain, redness or increased temperature over the bumps use betnovate cream for local application. hope i have answered your concern. feel free to ask further queries. thanks for choosing HCM
