What Causes Flesh Colored Bumps On The Hands And Feet In Children ? How Is It Prevented And Treated ?

my daughter has recently got flesh coloured bumps on her hands and feet. It doesn t itch and you have to look pretty closely to see them but it is bumpy to the touch. She also had a fever the week before. Any ideas

Hi,thanks for query.It seems that this could be due to some viral infection.At times this kind of rash are common in viral infection.The also subside readily with viral also.Give her plenty of fluids to drink,keep a possibility of allergy in mind and watch for possible allergen like soap,some food etc.You can apply lacto calamine over it,if they do not resolve please see your primary care physician for this.

hi welcome to Health Care Magic,
how old is your daughter? it can be just a viral exanthematous rash. if it is not itching, dont worry much. control fever with paracetamol & it will subside in a week. if increasing, need to see a doctor.
