My concern is about a flesh like clot i saw on my sanitary pad after having bad cramps. Today is the first day of my period and i have never had a flesh looking clot come out during my period. The clot was different then a regular blood clot, what came out look more flesh like pink and skin like in texture. And a lot of blood came out , to the point it soaked up my entire pad. I wonder if it had to do anything with me taking plan b pill 5 days ago?
Such a presentation is quite commonly encountered with plan B use, and also as it is the first day of your period. During your period, the inner lining of the uterus called the endometrium is shed and this can appear to look like a clot.
I would also like to add that plan B prevents implantation and/or fertilisation and so it can cause your period to come earlier, and with this it can cause the clot like presentation I have explained earlier.
Best wishes.
