General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
It is normal for blood pressure to go up and down to some extent. Moving around, exercise and foods can make small changes in the blood pressure. The blood pressure goal is less than 120/80 so he has a ways to go. Even on the appropriate medication it will still fluctuate. Work with his doctor to get the appropriate blood pressure regimen.
