What Causes Fluctuating SGPT Level While On Treatment For Jaundice?

My nephew has an jaundice his age is 12years old and his treatment for jaundice is on and his sgpt last week was 700 and this week it is gone high up to 1100the treatment is on but doctors says it will go high initially and eventually it will come down....is there reason to worry

see there is no reason to worry...in natural course of viral hepatitis there is first increase in sgpt and later on sgpt graduaLly decreases... mainly conservative treatment.. avoid too much fatty food.. eat fruits.. take glucose powder 200 g per day and take liquid lactulose..take care..
