What Causes Fluctuating High BP And Feeling Of High Pressure In Head?

My Blood pressure is 167/87 which is taken roughly at the same time each day at around 1pm. The reason for taking it at this time is because there is a feeling of high pressure in my head. This same feeling also occurs sometimes at night. So I have been taking my blood pressure in the morning, midday and early evening, it fluctuates a lot even though I ensure I have rested for about 15 mins prior to taking it. Other readings I have taken over the last four days is as follows: 158/86 - 1 pm 135/75 - 19:00 167/87 - 1 pm 155/80 - 19:00 165/83 - 1 pm 145/81 - 19:00

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have fluctuating high BP and feeling of high pressure in head . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like the effect of medication , adrenal fatigue and overactivity or hardening of arteries . The symptoms can also occur as a sign of serious cardiac problem like heart failure or stroke .
Hope your concern has been resolved. I would suggest you to consult cardiologist for proper examination . Doctor will take history , may order ECG , complete blood profile , check vitals and lipid profile . Sometimes doctor may also order angiography . Doctor may recommend prescribe blood thinners , blood pressure medicine like betablockers or may recommend surgery for pacemaker , Doctor may also refer you to endocrinologist for checking hormonal activity For now take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and take proper rest .
