Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Fluctuating Temperature And Sweating In A Child Post Trauma?
My 4 year old child had a fall Sunday evening around 9pm. We went to A&E and they were happy to let her home. Today her head has been very sore and she has been tired. Also her temperature is fluctuating and she is sweating a lot. Is this common after a head injury?
After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that off and on fever with weakness can be related to trauma. But you should definitely consult your treating physician for further care.
Hopefully this information will guide you properly.
Kind Regards Dr Bhanu Partap
