What Causes Fluctuations In Body Temperature While On Amoxicillin And Flonase?

I thought I had cold like symptoms 3 weeks ago but for the last 6 to 7 days I have only had a cough and my temp goes up and down all day long! mostly temps of 100.4. as of now its down to 99.4 sometimes goes up as high as 101.7 and several times back to normal. I went to the doctor last wedensday and he put me on AMOX TR-K CVL 875-125 MG tab and has me doing Flonase as well. There has not been any sign of relief in sight. also I have had headachs everyday I think is due to coughing. Please help!

In addition to the antibiotics and flonase, you may need cough suppressant since the persistent coughing is causing a headache.

Cough suppressants would be available over the counter.
The headache may also be related to congestion of the sinuses as well which would be helped by a decongestant and antihistamine combination.

It is possible you can find a syrup with cough suppressant, decongestant and an antihistamine.

Acetaminophen can be used to help treat the headache if it occurs, it would also help the fever.
