What Causes Fluid Discharge From Ear, Swollen Tonsils And Fever?
My grand daughter is 2 and a half. She has been running a fever for the past 5 days. She has tubes in her ears and they are draining fluid. The ENT checked and she has no infection in her ears. Her pediatrician says she has swollen tonsils and tested for strep but no strep. What could be wrong?

discharge from ear is suggestive otitis media or glue ear
Get her blood test tor complete blood count and ESR
In my opinion it could be tonsillitis or upper respiratory tract infection
give her a course of antibiotics under supervision of your doctor
