What Causes Fluid Drainage With Blood From Wound Caused After Gall Bladder Removal?

I have a 63 yr old sister in law blind since birth and mild mentialy handicap had her gallbladder removed in 1995 told three stones were lost when removing it. in 1998 an opening in a scar tissues where she had previusely had an historectemy opened and Dr removed what was thought to be gallstones. then in 2002 this ocrued again in the scar where the gallbladder was removed another what they thought was a stone product and the again 2 months later. Did surgery. healed as an open wound. now 2015 it is open again draining with fluid and ting of blood. is on antibiotics waiting on surgens appointment.

A draining scar after very long period of time can due to formation of fistula or sinus. Exact cause can be diagnosed after clinical assessment by a surgeon.
