What Causes Fluid Filled Bump On Forehead?

I recently got out of shower about an hour and did not notice any bump on my head above my ear. I would have felt it. But now a huge numb has formed on my head and it hurts, but it s filled with fluid. I never hit my head today on anything. Should I be concerned?

Hi,

As per your query you have fluid filled bump on forehead. I would suggest:
- Maintain complete hygiene
- Avoid from excessive exposure to sunlight and keep area dry
- Apply calamine lotion on this and take proper course of antibiotic.

You should visit a dermatologist once if symptoms persists and start treatment after proper examination and prescription.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari, Dentist
