Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my husband has a small clear growth in his hair that has grown to size of a dime within 2 weeks. It is not soft nor hard but does seem to have a small amount of fluid. I do not see an ingrown area, nor any sign of a bite or infected tip on the growth. What could this possibly be?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It could be a small abscess or fluid filled blister. air is better to get it drained to avoid secondary infection and unwanted complications. Consult a GP and drain the fluid. Start a short course of antibiotics for five days also. Nothing much to worry and it will settle once drained.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
