What Causes Fluid Filled Bumps On The Penis After Having Sex?

I have a sac filled with some type of fluid a day after having sex with my girlfriend. When we first had sex, we use a condom to protect ourselves from std s. We still use condoms whenever we are having sex. The sac is small but yesterday it got bigger. What is the sac called and should I be worried?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If your fluid-filled lesion is painful than it could be herpes infection. However, if you have always done protected sex than herpes seems less likely.

You can investigate for herpes with Elisa testing. Meanwhile, you can apply topical antibiotic cream over drained sac considering it as a superficial bacterial infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
