General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and greetings

Fluid in lungs are caused by many pathologies:

1. Respiratory pathology: infections like pneumonia and tuberculosis, lung cancer or trauma to lungs
2. Cardiovascular: Heart failure can cause fluid correction in lungs

Other causes include like kidney failure, low protein, auto immune disease like rheumatoid arthritis and cirrhosis.

Get investigations depending upon other signs and symptoms, as that will help in finding the exact cause and hence the better treatment.

Thanks
