Hello, my husband has been having consent massive headaches day and night, starts with pressure in the left eye.. He has seen an eye dr. didn t find anything wrong with the eye, I work for an eye dr. Was referred to an neurologist who referred him to a neurosurgeon. Has had multiple MRI s all showing the same results, some fluids between the skull and the brain some shifting of the brain but not enough to warrant any kind of stints or surgery, the risk are greater. Yet he in excruciating pain day in and day out. I am at my wits end for an answer. Help!!

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

He may be having a condition called chronic SDH or subdural hygroma. If there is compression, surgical correction is required. Consult a neurosurgeon and he will direct you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
