Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My daughter is 33 and is complaining of fluttering feeling in the diaphragm. She does not have pain, shortness of breath or GERD like symptoms. Just irritating and keeping her awake. She is in good health and has no major issues with her health. She is not overweight. Can you guide us as to who she should see and possible treatments?
This may be a irritation to the diaphragm...which reaults in diapjragm contraction..which can ne due to indigestion or gastritis mostly and sometimes other reason. She need to take any smooth muscle relaxant like tab. Dixyclomine which help in relaxation of diaphra muscle......if she feels like gastritis then any antacid can be useful with it. I hope this will help you
