I take 150mg of rantidine every am because I m prone to indigestion & gas. Some times another one with evening meal if needed, but it doesn t seem to stop the fluttering which comes and goes through out the day. Hi,

First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, you need to get your upper gastrointestinal endoscopy done to rule out the cause of indigestion and biopsy may also be taken CIA endoscopy.

Try to lose weight and get a healthy lifestyle with daily brisk walking.

Avoid spicy and oily food products. Proton pump inhibitors like Omeprazole and Esomeprazole may also help along with aluminum sulfate syrups.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
