What Causes Fluttering In The Back?

i have been told i have reflux & prescribed Lansoprazole which has relieved the nightime coughing but i am more concerned about the intense fluttering in my back beneath my right shoulder blade, which is seems to be getting more frequent & waking me, any idea how to stop the fluttering or what is causing that?

Hi,

Fluttering you are referring to without any other specific complaint, seems to be excess gas formation in the digestive tract. The gas collects under the diaphragm and gives the feeling of fluttering. More fibers and water in diet, daily bowel clearance, abdominal exercises and 45 minutes walk daily is what you can do yourself. Digestive tonic like Vitazyme twice after food would help. In case of no relief in 10 days, consult a gastroenterologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
