What Causes Fluttering Sensation In Lower Abdomen During Postpartum?
Hello. I have been having flutter feelings in my lower abdomen the last couple weeks or so. I am 4 and a half months postpartum and have had 3 periods, one just ended a couple weeks ago. I have experienced this along with missed periods and other pregnancy symptoms before and was never pregnant until this last time and didn t find out till I was 25 weeks along and found out by an ultrasound my doctor had me do to see if I had cysts and pcos. I have taken 2 at home pregnancy tests he past two days with negative result. but I also got negative readings last time and was actually pregnant, but wasn t havibg periods. Does PCOS cause fluttering sensations in the lower abdomen?
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
The fluttering sensation you feel in your lower abdomen might be partially related to pcos. If no pcos, then uro genital infection is to be considered too.
Get further tests done including : - urine analysis - vaginal swab testing - fecal examination
In order to determine the right cause and get it treated accordingly.
All the best! Dr.Albana
