What Causes Fluttering Sensation In Stomach And Pelvic Pain While On Depo Shot?

I ve been on the depo injection for 4months now. Me and my partner had unprotected sex a few times at the end of December. For the past week I ve been getting flutters in my stomach, feeling really sick, having shooting pains in my pelvis which don t hurt just come and go. Is there any chance you could fall pregnant?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your symptoms of flutters in your stomach as well as shooting pain in your pelvis following intake of depo-provera I am suggesting that you are gradually developing a side effect of this contraceptive drug
In view of this please see your physician for further clinical assessment and possible change of your contraceptive pills
I hope this helps
