What Causes Fluttering Sensation In Stomach With History Of Undergoing Hysterectomy?
I am 54 years old and about a week ago I started having this fluttery feeling in the lower right side of my stomach. I have had a complete hysterectomy many years ago. there is no pain, just like a fluttering. Any idea what could cause this or what it could be?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
The fluttery feeling in your lower right abdomen could be movement games in intestines making them inflated and move. Common co-occurring symptom is constipation. Increase in fibrous diet, drinking sufficient water (10-12 glasses in 24 hours) along with sufficient walking and abdominal exercises would help.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
