What Causes Fluttering Sensation In The Chest?
Yes, I am a 54 year old female. Recently, say the last 2 weeks I get this feeling of fluttering in my chest like my heart is beating hard & rapidly for about 30 seconds and then i usually have to burp. There s no pain. It doesn t happen when I m active, just a t rest. It used to only happen once every few weeks, but now it s once or twice a day. what is this?

It might be palpitations. Consult a cardiologist and get evaluated. Serial ECG monitoring is required to rule out cardiac arrhythmia.
