What Causes Fluttering Sensation In The Chest?

I have been having rapid fluttering in my chest for the last 3 days. It is happening more frequently today, about every 5 minutes. The fluttering is on my right side above my breast bone. This is usually accompanied by a shortness in breath, then goes away.
