What Causes Fluttering Sensation In The Upper Abdomen On The Left Side?
I have an intermittent strange fluttering sensation left upper abdomen. It s been going in for a couple of weeks. No fever tenderness to palpation I had an ultrasound approximately two months ago for suspected gallstones due to right upper quadrant pain there s no pain associated with this it s just a strange uncomfortable feeling. I m not burping excessively and I don t have any eat acid reflux issues that I know of. 43 years old not pregnant in good health.

So intermittent fluttering sensation can be due to focal myoclonic jerks which are quite common. There is nothing to worry about.
