What Causes Foamy Diarrhea?
I have a 27 month old son who has had diarrhea since Sunday. They started out soft now liquid, clay colored and foamy. Just one or two BMs a day. Not eating so well but only other symptom is seems to be more tired than usual. No other health issues. No one else in the family ill. Does not attend daycay etc.

It may be due viral or bacterial infection inside the abdomen or due to parasites forming in the stomach. It will get better with proper treatment.
