What Causes Food To Get Stuck At The Bottom Of The Esophagus And Discomfort While Swallowing?
Still experiencing discomfort when swallowing food 6 days after having 2 varices banded. It feels like
the food gets stuck at the bottom of my esophagus and I have to flush it down with a swallow of water.
When I do this it is very uncomfortable and makes me to not want to eat.

Take a low dose PPI and continue with it.
Omeprazole will be enough for you.
Also drink a lot of water.
