Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have this thing that happens when I eat or drink things that are very cold, like ice cream, or cold drinks. it feels like the food gets stuck in my throat, and even sometimes regurgitates. it is at the bottom of my neck near where the collar bone connects with the neck. What could that possibly be. I saw a head and neck doctor, and he look down my throat and did not see any growths, he said because of my age it was possibly muscle spasms, but I am not yet satisfied with that as it seems to be getting worse.

What Causes Food To Get Stuck In The Throat?
Hi welcome to the health care magic During eating cold items you are having muscle spasm and feeling blockage... If seems to be allergy to cold... Because of that you might have inflammation reaction and so spasm can be there You can investigate with CBC and AEC to rule out eosinophila in allergy Reaction If it is allergy than Allegra like drug might prescribed Take care Consult physician for examination
