What Causes Foul Body Odour In An Infant?

my 10 month grand child smells of yeast. he is on sensitive formula, and this is a recient occurnce. is this something i should be worried about? i have become his primary baby sitter so am wondering. I have told his mother but she seems un concerned.. He is teething but shows no sign of distress but he also is having some loose bowels.

Most of the time, it's totally normal for the baby's body to have odors – some pleasant and some not. Young kids have a short neck and lots of fat, so food and sweat can be trapped in the folds of skin and start to have an odor.
