What Causes Foul Gag Odour While Draining Fluid From The Liver?

I have end stage liver disease and cirrhosis I have recently had 7 to 8 liters of fluid removed every week. the incision spots of my parantices prosedures drained so bad stitches nor liquid stitch could stop the pouring fluid. so when released from hospital I had 4 incision spots that ostomy bags had to be placed on. I have been home 3 days my daughter has to frequently empty the bags and it has an extremely strong gagging odor that I can only compare as maybe rotting eggs but much stronger. what is causing this odor and should I consult me liver dr

A foul smell is quite common in liver dysfunction and it is due to excessive production of ammonia and other metabolites.

You can seek help from a gastroenterologist for further assessment.
