What Causes Foul Odor In Urine?
My urine smells awful. Some days it is worse than other. I don t have a UTI. I don t eat the normal foods that cause it to smell. And it has smelled for quite some time. I ve been tested for the UTI and it s not the reason. What could be causing. The only thing I can think of is soy in the bars I eat every day. I dont even know how to describe what it smells like.

The foul smell in urine causes bacteria in urinary tract or bladder but if you have no UTI then it seems inflammation of urethra or external opening of urinary bladder.other causes also produces smell in urine as allergic reactions of food:some foods and medicines like vitamins and minerals supplements and asparagus,beer garlic onion and coffee produces smell in urine,dehydration: if urine is concentrated then you may be feel like ammonia smell in your urine ,diabetes,excess intake of coffee,gastrointestinal bladder fistula,metabolic disorder,inflammation of fallopian tube,high blood sugar levels causes the sweet urine odor,inflammation of urinary bladder,liver disease,kidney infection.,but you can improve your urine smell by taking more fluids or water.
