Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Foul Odour And Slight Bleeding After Periods?
I been having a foul odor a few days after my period. Not normal. As I was feeling around and took my finger out there was blood on it. I was wondering if it s a tampon stuck in me. I felt around and and didn t find anything. Should I go in? Or if there was one inside me I would find it.
If there was a stuck tampon in your vagina, it could be located deep and you may have missed it. If tampons are stuck inside the vagina for long, it can cause infection which in turn can cause foul smelling discharge and even blood from your vagina. If your problem persists, worsens or you develop a fever, please consult a gynecologist immediately and seek the appropriate treatment. A gynecologist can examine you and provide you with the reason for your symptoms. Good day and take care.
