What Causes Foul Odour In The Armpit?

I have the smell of onions under the armpit. I normally don t sweat, but the scent seems to be getting stronger. I do shower, and I never use to have a scent. What do I need to correct this? Am I the only one that smells it? I deal with the public, some close quarters for meetings, and seems to remain in my clothes now. I m not a very good eater, can go days without eating, not crazy about water, and I m thinking I m lacking by magnesium since cramps are getting worst. Don t know of any correlation between the two.

Hi,

Body odor in the armpits is caused by bacteria breaking down sweat and is largely linked to the apocrine glands.

You can overcome by means of following:
1) Keep the armpits clean by washing them regularly using medicated anti-bacterial soap.
2) Shaving the armpits regularly has been found to help body odor control in that area.
3) Use of deodorants make the skin more acidic, making it more difficult for bacteria to thrive.
4) Use of antiperspirant blocks the sweating action of the glands, resulting in less sweating.
5) Improve your hydration by consuming good quality of water and citrus fruit juices.

For your muscle cramps, magnesium and calcium supplementation would help to overcome it.
