What Causes Foul Odoured Vaginal Discharge Post Intercourse During Pregnancy?
Hello, I m 18 weeks pregnant and I had sexual intercourse with my partner two days ago, and ever since there has been a foul smelly odour as well as discharge with blood. I was told I had a hematoma which the clot is absorbing itself slowly but is it normal to have a foul smell?
Hello dear Understand your concern. Generally vaginal discharge after sex is common. It is cervical mucus plus secretion due to sexual arousal. But it is not foul smells.
Foul smells suggests infections most commonly yeast infection or it may be STDs or fungal infections.
You take following advice:
Treatment are as follow 1. Wash your vagina with this water twice a day for two to three days with warm water 2. Apply Apple cider vinegar: it has excellent antibacterial and antifungal properties 3. Salt Bath- 4. Antibacterial/fungal talcs: apply candid powder 5. Keeping The Vagina Dry (Not wet, clean well) 6. Wear Loose Clothing 7. Also take antibiotic You should use following single dose treatment:
1. AZEE 1000 mg (AZITHROMYCIN) 2. TINI 1 G (TINIDAZOLE) 3. ZOCON 150 mg (FLUCONAZOLE) Avoid sex in pregnancy if possibl Hope this may help you. Take care and stay healthy.
