What Causes Foul Secretion From Tongue?

My tongue is secreting a substance that has a slightly foul taste and I wonder what it might be. I did have a peridontal graft recently (took tissue from roof of mouth and put on gums of a lower front tooth) but all went well The secretions are happening every day all day, almost like salivating but the saliva has a funny taste (only slightly disagreeable). What could this be?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern....

As per your complain secretions from tongue is something abnormal and it is possible if you have any ulcer or lump over the tongue which is causing discharge and it can be a sign of any serious condition..
In your case it seems that there is some infection at the graft site or some infection in any of the major salivary gland leading to pus discharge and it is the most probable cause of bad taste in mouth..
You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and in case of infection and pus discharge you have to get treated with antibiotics for resolving infection and ultimately the discharge will also cease..
In case if there is any lesion on tongue it has to be evaluated clinically and a biopsy may be needed to confirm the diagnosis..
