What Causes Foul Smelling Urination While On A Birth Control Implant?

Hie i have implant for 2 years and 7 months now and i ve never seen my periods since i had it so it happened last week i saw my periods but very light not heavy it just happened for 3 day so since then my urine is been very smelly so i would like to know what must be causing my urine to smell.thank you

Yes, this cant indicate just one disorder since there could be a number of causes for foul smelling urine. Most common includes urinary tract infection, metabolic abnormality & bladder infection. I would suggest you to get urine complete examination & culture done to see if there is any abnormality. Meanwhile following home remedies may help to improve the condition:
- Drink plenty of water if you are dehydrated,
- Cranberry juice is also an effective home remedy for foul urine odor. It is more beneficial to prepare a fresh cranberry juice instead of drinking a canned one.
- Lemon juice and barley water also help to relieve you of foul smelling urine.
