Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My family has a history of diabetes, and high blood pressure. Recently my urine started smelling a bit fruity it was a weird scent but a little sweet, the next week it started smelling very foul, and everyone I wipe a weird way brown discharge would be on the tissue, even after showers, they left now, but the smell remains
i would like to tell you that foul smelling urination may indicate that you have urinary tract infection or other cause for investigation......bacterial infection of urinary symptoms has some symptoms like foul smelling urination or dysuria which mean feeling pain when urination or haematuria which means rbcs in urine and urine has red or brown color ... you should do urine culture for investigation ....you may have risk factors that lead to urinary tract infection like severe stress or diabetes .......also v may be due to inadequate amount of fluids you drink as you may need to have to drink more water for flushing of kidney.....you should do urine test and if you feel loin pain should do ultrasound but till now the problem is simple and you need not to worry of that.....
wish you healthy life
