What Causes Foul Urine Odor While Having Treating Atrial Fibrillation?
i was in the hospital 18 mos. ago with Atrial fibrillation...conversion with medicine. Type 2 diabetic, keeping numbers under control with diet. Hypertension, controlled with medication--Lisinopril with HTZ. also on Lasix 40 mg. No UTI, No other symptom except malodorous urine. Any ideas on what makes my urine stink
Yes bad smelling urine is common when using drugs. Mostly, the drugs taken are eliminated or removed from the body through urine. Other can be removed through stool or saliva. Your urine smell is due to this process and you need not worry. You need to take a lot of water. However it is advisable to do urinalysis just to reconfirm that your urine is okay but the smell.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Mutuma Geoffrey Zambezi
