What Causes Foul Vaginal Odor While On Implanon?

i was using the imoplanon in my arm n i started getting deprerssed and i started having a really bad fishy odor then i got the sprentec now im having a discharge. i only smell it during N after sex its smell like a dead animal ive been to trhe doctor 2 times in the last three month for a bacterial infection im always gettin bacterial what causes that?

Fishy odor is commonly due to an infection called bacterial vaginosis but it would be best, since it is recurring after treatment, for you to have a swab done.

The swab would determine the exact bacteria or pathogen causing the symptoms so that you can be appropriately treated. It can also determine if the bacteria is resistant to certain medications, this may be a reason for recurrence.
