What Causes Freckles On Face Despite Using Kojic And Glycolic Acid?
Hello Doctor,I am 25 years old. I have fricles on my face since my childhood. I have taken homeopathic treatment long back. Currently I am using cozic acid, Glyco Acid in night and sunscream in day time since one year regularly. I am avoiding sun exposure too but it is not working. Please suggest.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your query freckles on the face can be due to hyperpigmentation on certain areas of face and and it is since childhood it seems to be chronic and stubborn and can take a long time to resolve.. As you are using Kojic acid and Glycolic acid containing creams they are appropriate for reducing pigmentation but can take a longer time to resolve but in case if it is not resolving since one year also you might need additional formulations and techniques for improvement.. You can also add up using depigmentation creams containing Vitamin E and C.. You can also apply creams containing Licorice and grapeseed extract. Exfoliate your skin twice a week using a gentle scrub.. You can also go for treatments like Microdermabrasion and chemical peeling..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
