What Causes Frequent And Large Amount Of Stools?

Hi, I`ve been going through all kinds of tests for my bowel problems. Multiple stools, large amounts of fecal matter, emergency runs to the toilet. I`ve had a colonoscopy, blood tests,at least 8 or more stool cultures, a CT scan and everything comes back looking ok. Mornings are real bad. I take Crestor and Niacin at bed time. Is there any way they could be causing it ? Have you ever heard of them causing diarrheal or bowel issues ? I`ve seen my local Doctor and a Gastroenterologist and still don`t have any answers. This has been going on for several months. Thank you for your time and help.

How long have you had this issue? Any associated abdominal pain/cramps? Any blood in your stool/weight loss?
Niacin could contribute to diarrhea, not Crestor. So you may want to discuss with your doctor to see if changes can be made.
I didn't see you mention about diet change/modification. Sometimes, certaouin diets can cause and/or contribute to diarrhea.
You could start by eliminating dairy in your diet, give it a couple of weeks, and see if there're any changes.
