What Causes Frequent Bowel Movement And Spontaneous Nosebleeds?

There has been a change in my bowel movements. I have a bowel movement every time I use the bathroom. I may feel as though I only have to urinate, but then I so I also pass bowel. My bowels are light and flat . There has been no change in my diet. The only other medical thing happeing is I am having spontaneous nosebleeds. Don t know if these two are connected in any way. Other that that I am healthy.

This could be a either irritable Bowel syndrome or gastroenteritis which needs immediate therapy.

Here your nose bleeding could be due to some other reason which is not the beg issue and in most of the cases it may get subsided by itself without any treatment.

For IBs or gastroenteritis,the management mostly relies on diet and lifestyle modifications along with certain medications.

Diet and Lifestyle Modifications in IBS like avoiding Pulses and Beans, food with high amounts of refined sugars will help.

Medications in IBS like loperamide (immodium) has been used in the management of IBS with diarrhea.

But it must be used with caution because the more you use it, the higher risk of getting an infection in your bowels.

If you must use it. Use only 1 or 2 tablets in a day and don't use more than Once or twice a month.

Antispasmodics like mebeverine has also been used to regulate the bowel in IBS.

Consult physician or gastroenterologist if above medications and dietary measures do not work and take further advice.
