What Causes Frequent Bowel Movements, Fever And Nausea?

Yes, Since this morning I have had several bowel movements. The first 4-5 times I became feverish and nautious and each time I felt like I was going to pass out. Now, I have the urge to go about every half hour but each time I go there is blood in the toilet.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Blood in the stool may be due to anal fissures, anal tears, hemorrhoids which are harmless conditions. But sometimes it may be indicative of serious medical conditions like colon or rectal cancer. You are suggested to visit ER, get urgently evaluated by a GP. Get all investigations along with blood tests done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
