General & Family Physician 's  Response
Neurontin contains gabapentin. Its common side effects include sedation, breast enlargement, jaundice, fever, viral and respiratory infection, UTI, infection, leucopenia, anorexia, vomiting, nausea, gingivitis, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, diarrhea, dry mouth or throat, flatulence, and weight gain.
Why are you taking Neurontin you have not written here? You can write it later. We will suggest you better alternative.
Advice
1.     You can take a combination of norfloxacin and tinidazole such as Norflox TZ tablet every 12 hours for 3 days
2.     Electral powder – dissolve in 1 liter of water and drink frequently. You can use other over the counter ORS
3.     Eat small, frequent meals to allow the stomach to digest foods gradually
4.     Drink 4 – 5 liters of water daily to avoid dehydration
5.     Discuss with your doctor about your problem so that he/she can prescribe safer alternative of Neurontin
I hope this information will help you. I will be happy if you ask another question
Thanks
