What Causes Frequent Bowel Movements While Suffering From Crohn S Disease?

Hello. About 15 years or so ago, I was diagnosed with Chron s. My symptoms have been managed through the years with azathriprine (sp). Today, I am experiencing a frequent number of bowel movements, soft and yellowish-green in color. I have have 5 + bowel movements. Do you think this could be my chron s flaring up? Earlier today, I did have heartburn and over the weekend, I had normal bowel movements. Thank you.

Hi,

Dear it does sound like a flare up . Crohn's disease is a chronic ailment and can flare up at times . You should get a physician opinion because an infection should also be ruled out.
